Can I bring a family member or support person?
Absolutely. You're welcome to include anyone who may be involved in your care or decision-making.

Is this session available online?
Yes. Absolutely we can meet via video or phone if you prefer. It's just as helpful and allows flexibility if you're based outside my local area (‘fun’ fact, I can assist through out the whole of Australia, the main information doesn’t change).

What if I’ve already contacted My Aged Care?
That’s fine! This session can still help clarify the process and give you a better sense of what happens next.

What happens if we finish the session and now we want more ongoing support?
We can absolutely help you at every step of the process. We can discuss what this could look like and the costs involved. We can provide as little or as much support as you’d like.

Do you help register with My Aged Care?
In this session we find there really isn’t time. 1hr gives you a solid amount of time to understand the system and feel more empowered with what to do next. However it’s not enough time for those practical tasks. We definitely can help with these things with more time and we can discuss the ongoing costs (have a look at the care companion service) and time requirements more at the end of the session.
